meetup!

Spent yesterday with Kim and her DH, walking ALL over Munich, and I was too tired yesterday evening even to turn on my computer. Fun people, good sports to put up with me and my enthusiasm. It's fun to see the sights with new eyes! We visited all the possible fabric sources but didn't buy much. (Sticker shock!) The weather even cooperated. But thank goodness for ibuprofen! :-) Roberta in D

Kim wrote about what a wonderful day you all had on her Facebook page. It's amazing to think how our computers have influenced our lives. It is so nice that you could show her around your part of the world. Be careful....you may find yourself with all lots of visitors after the glowing reviews!

LOL! Roberta, I know just what you mean about seeing things with new eyes. The same thing used to happen to me when I took students to Europe back when I was teaching. It was great. :) I'm glad you had a good time with Kim and her DH; they're really nice people. :)

Oh what a fabulous day we did have. I was just so amazed to see a side of Munich that you don't get to see on the city tours. Roberta you were just an absolute dream of a tour guide. I just wish my back and heart would have cooperate better the way the weather did. Mark just loved the Chinese Beergarden. We wanted to go back but just didn't get the chance. We can't thank you enough for spending the day with us and showing us the city. We were both exhausted that night. Right now I'm going to bed but I will post pics as soon as I've recovered a bit, hopefully tomorrow or Monday.

Hugs, Kim
