This is how she'd handle that :

one time Mr Joe had just gotten home from the hospital. DD and DS were home, also. She herded us into the LR and would NOT let any of us leave. She'd whine and cry and carry on until we were back in sight and then herd us into "our" proper chair. Then she'd lie down next to Mr Joe's feet. She was NOT a whiner and very rarely barked.

My husband will have his final radiation appointment on Monday. It's been a long 7 weeks of daily treatments. No results till January.
