My first ever workshop

Mar 04, 2012 4 Replies

I went to my first quilty workshop last Thursday while I was on holidays in Rochester Victoria. It was about 'Free motion quilting" and I have to say I had so much fun and learnt so much. My sample is a real giggle that I will keep as a reminder of what to do.

I wont hesitate to attend more in the future because I wasn't the only one who made a lot of 'mistakes'. Now all I need to do is practice, practice and more practice.

That's great Di. Workshops can and should be rewarding and fun even if a particular technique being learnt turns out to 'not be your bag'.

Have fun with the quilting practice.

Cheers Bronnie

Thanks Bronnie.

So glad you had a happy time of it. The classes I've attended have always been big fun. Practice and in just no time at all you'll be able to take off your training wheels and yell " Look at me". Polly
