I love fiber... have participated in several fiber swap, but using fiber isn't something I think to do off the top of my head. I decided to make a couple Christmas cards this year for some special things I had to mail off. I thought each card was very cute, but could use a tweak. With each card it evolved into something really nice. What the clencher was April's card with fiber on it. I thought "OH YEAH.... fiber!" So, I looked through the last stash of fiber to see if something would work with the cards I made. It just happened to be some fiber that April had used for the swap. haha. It matched my card perfectly and created a monster. Instead of the couple cards I was going to make I've made 25 cards so far. I even had to buy more fiber and change the color scheme slightly to match the new fiber. Only thing they don't fit into the envelope as nice as a plain card, but they do look so much better than a store bought plain card once out of the envelopes. I'll post pictures after I get around to taking some.
And April you smart lady she labeled what kind of fiber she sent and where she got it. I may have to have you see if Hobby Lobby has any more after that holidays. I just love it and there are no Hobby Lobby's near me.
