The binder cover was a project planned for my quilt group in Florida. Purpose was to get them to try some machine quilting, and also to keep their hand-outs and patterns in a safe place. Hopefully they will use the inside pocket for pen, pencil and ruler as well! (I keep a ziploc bag of pencils to hand out each week)

What a scathingly brilliant idea, Susan! It's just so hard to drag the timid into machine quilting. I respect the handquilters; but I do love to see those who are terrified of MQ eased into it anyway we can. Polly
I was pleasantly surprise when I attend the quilting group yesterday afternoon. At least 8 people were trying machine quilting for their binder covers!
