Yesterday I had to have my gall bladder out. My husband just sat there quietly while the nurse tried two times to get an IV started. I tried to get him to talk to distract me but it was no use. So I told him to go get my best friend an quilting buddy. She did a great job of getting me through prep. She is also coming today to sit with me while my husband goes to a meeting. She's the best!
