My new photo site

Thanks John When I rented the car (for a significant birthday!), I rented it from the factory itself. The car I had was a 2004 model, so it had all the new stuff necessary, like seat belts and automatic choke (thank goodness!). I told them that they would have a great market in the US< if they would only make a model with automatic transmission! They said they had made one, for the owner of the company when he became a little frail in his old age. Apparently the difficulty is the width of the car. They actually took a Land Rover to pieces and used the automatic transmission from that - something about its being possible because the LR is a four wheel drive? So that is the only auto ever made. After only 40 miles of gear-changing, with a clutch miles down the front of the car (even though I'm tall!) I was wishing they had an auto version! I looked yesterday, Pat, and I think it's very easy to navigate. It was wonderful to see some new things (rabbits and quilts, as well as marquetry -- amazing stuff!) and to renew acquaintance with quilts I'd seen before -- and with a certain lady in a snazzy car!

Hummmm I've never been around any bunnies to become allergic. Or I could just bring my allergy medicine and make sure I don't pet any kitties. THAT'S when I really had problems...I'd then touch my eyes at some point and....ICK...swelling and itching that would drive me bonkers!

The last time I got real friendly with a kitty cat (about 1974???) and then touched my eyes I got big water blisters covering the white part of my eyes and could hardly blink! Plus it brought on my first full blown asthma attack- scary. A trip to the ER fixed it altho I don't remember what they did to me to reverse it. I am veeerrrryyy careful around cats nowadays!

You win! I just just get really itchy and try to rub the heck out of my eyes. But if I physically stay away from them I just get a stuffy nose when in a "cat home".....I was going to say "cat house" but I'm much more refined than that!

Well, I should think so- no 'cat house'. LOL 'Specially when we are talking about Pat's beautiful home on that hill I want to see so badly..... in person. ;-)

I need to get my expired passport renewed in case we have an emergency "go see Pat" expedition come up. Well, actually I should do it anyway since DH and DS are planning a trip to Russia in December. It's always good for another family member to be available....in case of whatever. I may have already waited too long to do it though. I should have really said....PAT is much more refined.... sometimes I'm not sure that I am.

Thanks Donna. It's one of my favourites too. I have been keeping rabbits for over 20 years - every single one has a different personality: something they are not really given credit for.
