My reason for quilting

Found this quote, but don't remember where:

"A good cook is one who doesn't know how to quilt."

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL

Ha! Not true Your Honor! I love to cook and my friends love coming to dinner. And I love to quilt -- but I don't quilt all day everyday like my quilty friends who don't cook! My two close quilt buddies are great cooks. The third in the group can't (or doesn't)! Hmmm.

My thought for the day: Housework won't kill you - but why take the chance?

I'm celebrating - yesterday I ungraded my Jamone QC to the new Horizon MC7700. I am so excited I can hardly sit down. I am re- arranging my quilt studio to accommodate it as it comes with a beautiful drop in worktable. Later today I should be ready to have a practise.

Have a great quilty day! Bronnie

Bronnie, what a find! Love it when that happens: I got my two Roxanne thimbles like that on Ebay for a fiver each: it feels so good.

I also cook and quilt, but rarely at the same time. My DH is a great cook, so he can take over if I am in the middle of something that won't wait. Lucky me.

Thanks Nel. My hubby is pretty handy in the kitchen as well. He has 'specialties' : homemade pasta curries strawberry conserve peach chutney (to accompany curries) grills, BBQs etc. hot chocolate souffle for two
