Nashville Show

I was just wondering if anyone is going to the AQS show this week on August 23, 24, 25, 26. I will be there with my DD on Friday, hopefully all day. DD is a quilter, she doesn't know it yet, so I still have to lure her out for a fun day and then as we are driving around Nashville I will exclaim, " Oh WOW! Look dd, it's a quilt show, why I had no idea we would stumble upon such a wonderful event. I have heard this is quite a show to see, let's just stop in for a bit!

I'm going to be staying at Opryland Hotel for the CATS Needlework Seminar which is the same weekend. My one class for Thursday has been canceled and I only have one class on Friday so I plan to "do" both of the Markets while I am there! I could not believe my good luck in having BOTH the Needlework and the Quilt shows at the same hotel on the same weekend!! I sure do hope that the same thing happens next year! Last year, the Needlework show was the weekend before the Quilt show so I had to miss the Quilt show. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

And give him a list of the famous, respected and very rich male quilters like Kaffe Fasset, John Flynn, Ricky Timms etc; (I'm just assuming the financial part!) plus those whose skills are remarkable, like our own Carl Ryan and George Siciliano - to name just a couple. .
