Need some specific type scraps.......

Speaking of challenge quilts..... I need a few small scraps of fabric with specific things on the fabric. I need a couple-three small fairies, garden gnomes, and any thing else that is a little silly and "garden" oriented. Note these will need to be fairly small, will be used in pieces about 1 1/2" or so (Hexagons that finish with 1" sides......I think.)

If anyone has any such they would like to send to me, please let me know. I will willingly pay postage/fabric/???? for some of these. Just a few mind you. (I decide I need fairies and there are none to be found. sigh....)

I might have something for you. Its late and I have to be up extra early in the am, but I will try and remeber to scan what I have tomarrow night. If I dont, please email me to harass me... this term is crazy and I have developed a short term memory loss lol snipped-for-privacy@gmail.com works I think the one I use for posting here has a nospam added to it, but otherwise it works too. I made my daughter a fairy quilt with daisys and such... I am

99% sure I had left overs... the fairies and daisies were all small, under 1in in size.

Pati-

I think I may have some fairies small enough for you. The ones bent over and sitting down will fit in a 1 in. square. Also, I have some small bugs that could be found in a garden. I don't have a scanner for my computer, but I took a photo-

I have a lovely piece of pale yellow Debbie Mumm fabric with garden fairies all over it. Only problem is, they are large -- full body is about 2.5". BUT -- you could fussy cut just the head & wings -- I measured and that part is about 1". There are also teensy butterflies

-- 1/4", bigger butterflies and grasshoppers -- 1", ladybugs -- 1/2" and flowers galore. If you think it would work, I would be happy to scan it for you. Just let me know, OK? CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Was supposed to get some time to wander myself, and haven't yet. Wed. was set up, I worked 6 hrs, Yesterday and today I worked the whole day, and may tomorrow too. sigh. There is no real rush on the Fairies.... just whenever in the next few weeks. Thanks again.

Thanks, but I don't think I want to applique that small. Since I am thinking of 1"-2" or so sizes.

Heidi didn't see any on that that I need, I probably missed it. sigh. But this list is wonderful and it looks like I will have plenty of little people to populate my garden.

Thanks to everyone. This is the greatest resource around. And everyone is willing to share and help out. If anyone needs anything I have, please let me know. (If I can find it I am willing to share..........)

LOL, I am not sure what I am making exactly. Probably won't know until it is done. But it is a quilt for the Hoffman Challenge. Basically I will be using hexagons, probably 1" finished sides. Not sure about buttons will keep that in mind. Thanks.
