I wanted to keep this one for myself, I bought all of the print that was left on the bolt but it wasn't much.

I think Adiana's first words will be, "Aunt Bonnie is my favorite aunt!" That's a neat use of the large print, and I think she'll love the back as much as the front. Good work!

I love large florals and that's a terrific way to use them for a baby quilt. Thanks for a great idea, Bonnie. The giraffe is delightful too. Polly

Bonnie, if it's the one you made for Adiana (beautiful name, BTW!), it's lovely -- I just wish we could see the whole thing. I love the fabric you used; I can see why you wanted to keep it for yourself. :)

Oh la la! Sophisticated on one side, fun and silly on the other side. Well done, Bonnie.

Glad to see you reporting in, Pat. I'd wondered if Hurricane Ida and come by and given you a splat. Polly

Yep! Ida mixed it up with a Nor'easter and packed a wallop here. We have part of a neighbor's tree in our yard, and one of our small trees is badly damaged. Otherwise we fared well. Thanks for asking. Pat in Damp Virginia

How clever to stitch the reverse like that! It's beautiful and I'm sure it will be cherished. Donna

Do what you can to give that baby tree some TLC. All we could do for one of our grand old oaks after Katrina was to coat her wound with white paint - may have been an undercoat/sealer/something. Anyhow - it worked. She lives. She's grown new bark under her scar and is beautiful. We just couldn't believe Ida could move on up and be such a terror. Polly

Wow! The back is as fun and interesting as the front. Well done!

Couldn't help but notice your Christmas kaleidescope quilt too. It is just stunning!

That's funny, Michelle in Nevada, Because that's my first 'stack-n-whack' and I didn't want to waste expensive fabric, bought it at Joann's with a 40% off coupon.

The fabric is covered with white skulls w/blue eyes and red roses, the older ladies in my guild were scandalized when they saw the main fabric, I needed 12 repeats, that's a lot of fabric. I think that the fabric is still available. It's popular with a certian group, not my guild. I've been thinking about getting more and making pillow cases!

Bonnie: Okay, so I went back to see this S&W and I am glad I did! Very cool. I know someone who would love it. I will see if I can find that in local Joanne's. I've seen some 'sorta strange' fabric there but did not stop to consider it for S&W. Now I've got a new purpose when shopping. How fun! PAT in VA/USA PS: Will you be coming to MAQF in Feb.?
