While waiting outside my apt building this am, there was a pair of robins noisily protecting their turf - a lady using a walker came towards the entrance and said to me that the birds sounded so happy and cheerful, it was a treat to hear them - she then added "so full of life not dead like me". After she had gone into the building, I started to think about her words and I looked over into the corner bushes and I saw a nest, beautifully built and strong among the bare branches. I walked closer and saw 2 fuzzy heads appear over the top of the nest - I wished then that the walker lady was still there so that I could have shown her the babies and the reason why the robins were so noisy and happy in their lives. The on topic part, I ordered a new pfaff foot and a fabric parcel was waiting for me when I returned home = more sunflowers that I had ordered for Toots' quilt. I hope that nothing happens to that new family of robins - jennellh
