not OT: revealing a 2+ year old project

So, since it has been received and oohed and ahhed over by it's intended recipient, I figure now is a good time to post some links to pictures.

When Karen, our beloved Queen of Squishies started her Rising Stars piano studio, I told her she had to make a banner for it...she said she had too many other things oging and not enough time...so......I told her

*I* would make one for her.

Of course, at the time, I didn't know we would be relocating a few states south to a house that needed some cosmetic attention and that my children would decided to rotate times of insanity instead of just going bonkers together.

Anyway...it is done and she received it today, so here is a link for y'all to look at:

I hope those work correctly. If not, go to the Pattern Review contest entry folder and head towards the bottom...not sure why I'm having problems getting them to open for me..ah well....

And let me tell you, folks, those pictures are great but they do not do it justice. This thing is gorgeous, and DH has already helped me pick the perfect place to hang it in the studio. Thank you so much, Larisa! WAY cool.

It's just wonderful Larisa---I especially like the keyboard effect over the background!

It sets me to wondering about another (in)famous banner within the group: Miz Say-ruh's TDB. Anyone have an inkling what has become of it? MAmadurk
