o/t Back, with apologies

Ladies, I have been out of the loop for so long that many of you probably don't remember me. Anyhow, I felt now that life has calmed down a bit I should get back on here and apologise.

We put our house on the market last May and ever since then things have been chaotic. We had a long summer of loads of viewings and no offers during which both my kids were struck down with chicken pox, my hubby changed job, the computer died, we changed internet provider and I started working again from home. Phew. Then we finally had an offer accepted and put in an offer on a house here in Scotland. That dragged on a long time also - long story about a terminally ill seller and a son with power of attorney that I won't bore you with. Suffice to say it all went pear shaped and we had to pull out. Finally we found something else (by which time we were renting our old house back as it was already sold) and we moved at the end of January. Things are just about back to normal and we have a net connection that is stable again.

Thousands of apologies to the ladies in the European Swap who must have thought I had been abducted by aliens. I am truly sorry for disappearing half way through the swap and letting you down. I feel very bad about it and hope I can make up for it at some point in the future.

And with all this chaos going on I've not picked up a needle in *months*.

Hi there, I'm sure I've come across "Morag in Oxford" on another group, I guess that would be you! Can't remember which group though, I'm relatively new to this one.

Hello Morag,

Wow, it has been a heck of a year for you. We just finished the 3rd "your pick" swap, and I remember you were talking about moving during the

1st one.

Glad you're back!

Woo-Hoo! Glad you are back, Morag! One of these days we must start a fun swap that is cross-national borders, cross-ponds, cross-cultures and all that stuff. This group could make that kind of swap fun, exciting and educational.

Hope you love your new home. Keep us posted. After reading all those M.C.Beaton "Hamish Macbeth" mysteries, my mum and I both want to be transplanted to Scotland.....well, until we read about snow, anyway. LOL!
