Just heard the weather. Right were I am (Illinoia) at we are supposed to get a foot of snow. There is just a small patch and I am right in the middle of it.

Yeah, we were supposed to get a nice snow today. We got squat. Snow to the North, South, East and West of us. We got nada.

Here in the Detroit area they are saying somewhere in the 6 - 12 inch range... could even be more!
I'm ready for a day of quilting! Absolutely NOTHING else on the calendar for tomorrow!

SE Kansas. All the schools around are closed. I wanted a great "stay at home" day tomorrow. I can stay home if I want to, but I know me and I won't if I can. But I will if I have to.

We're supposed to get it tomorrow -rain, snow and freezing rain. Only an inch possible accumulation though.

I was being silly. I meant I can stay home any time I want, but if the weather isn't bad I just know I'll go somewhere. I don't want to but I will "need" something.
I won't stay home if I can get out. But I will stay home if I have to (because of the weather).

We have a couple inches on the ground this morning and it is still snowing like crazy. Too bad it is "clean the house day" or it would be "sew the quilt" day. I have been working on a quilt and got all of the blocks sewn together yesterday. I am looking forward to sewing the borders on and will try to get that done this afternoon. DH comes home for lunch everyday and that slows me down a bit. :-)

Kate, Grammy Kathy, Karen, and I are all in south central IL. We all usually get together on Fridays for quilting, along with a few others, and today we're going to all quilt at home. When I want a break, I'm going to introduce JJ to sledding! With a big piece of cardboard.
Musicmaker, cheerfully watching big fat snowflakes add to the pile outside.

You may get it sooner. We got the rain and freezing rain early this morning. Turned the world into a glare of ice and closed the schools. Not much snow now, but we will get more.
