In retrospect, I think it would have helped immensely if I had not washed the fabric. Sometimes that
1/4-1/2 inch makes or breaks it! This thread was pretty educational for me. All the fat quarter patterns I had were based on a 44-45 inch bolt. I naively thought they were *all* that size. I measured some fabric I'd bought, and found some of them, sans selvage, were only 39". Some were larger. But absolutely none of them were 45", even with the selvage.Sherry
