OT: Das Boot

Sorry for not posting this sooner but I was like TOTALLY OFF my foot from Fri until the Dr appt on Mon. Mon, I got das boot once again and hopefully this time it will only be for 2 weeks. Reason for it in the first place is they had to 'drill' the 2nd pin out thus leaving a hole in the bone. das boot will keep it protected during the day. Yes, I leave it off at night..even to go to the loo. Right now I'm pretty much chair bound except I can sit at the table to eat--no shopping, no mall walking, no making dinner, etc etc etc.

I've been reading and trying to work on a thread crochet Butterfly pattern.who knows.it may only end up a pillow--or a bedspread.depending on how the hands do.

Butterfly (At least I can go on here in the AM and late afternoon for a bit of a break)

Sorry you've had this additional problem, Butterfly. I suppose it is handy to have das boot around - just in case! . In message , Butterflywings writes

Can you believe this is a DIFFERENT one than the last one? This one has 'air bladders' in 4 diff places that they fill with air--then 'burp' to fit to your leg. It keeps the leg from sliding in the boot when you walk. It is so much more comfy than the last one. AND so much lighter.

Butterfly (I'm glad they insisted--what a diff a coupla years in technology makes)

Well the last one is atop the built in closet 'shoe rack'. Haven't a clue where I'll put this one when I'm done. They don't take them back!

Butterfly (Garage shelf sounds like the place to be--'cept it gets pretty hot >> Sorry you've had this additional problem, Butterfly. I suppose it is
