DD#1 has just finished College (High School) and passed her exams with top marks and has got accepted at the Lycee (6th Form in UK) she wanted. She's off to study Engineering with Physics for 3 years and after that Uni. She will be a boarder, as there is a bus but it leaves at 6.15am and back at 7.30pm, so not much time for R&R or homework. This way she goes in, thanks to Mum's taxi, on a Monday morning and back on a Friday afternoon and poss a meet up in the week as well. She is thrilled but little sister is already worrying about not having big sis with her all week at school.
I am so proud as she has also won 2 different local competitions in Occitan

So after living here for about 5 years nearly, she has learnt French, Spanish and Occitan and beating the locals at their own language!!! DD#2 also has French mastered, studying Spanish, knows some Occitan and taking Latin next year!
