OT - from She in PA

"It hasn't been good lately. Since the beginning of the year. My Mom has been in a nursing home that would hide her call button from her and I had been fighting with thenm about moving her ou of there. Then I ended up with a Gall Bladder attack and had to hve it removed. Our hospital is so busy that after they decided they were going to admit me I layed in the emergency room for almost 12 hours before I got a regular bed and a room. Them my mother got pnemonia and ended up in the hospital. I was seeing everyday and she has a very large hienal hernia(sp) . She had to eat everything thinkened. I found out she could have icecream. I left my house all excited to get her coconut icecream, at the red light I reached down to pick up my purse and thought the truck( Big Truck) in front of me moved it hadn't and I hit the gas and plowed right into the back end of him. I totlaled my beatiful ram quad cab bright yellow truck. I wasn't hurt. My truck that is

10 years old is totaled. Then I could see my mom every day. I had to reschedul my shoulder surgery since I had my gall balder removed.

I went and saw my Mom when I could. She had COPD also. but somethink happen my Mom dinnent have a stroke but she acted like it. That happened Thursday morning. The nurse found her with a high fever and not being able to talk. The nurse nevr called us. I walked in there thursday afternoon and found her with her eyes not focusing I thought she just had a stroke I told my husband to run and get a nurse then she came in and said she found her that way that morning. I was so mad I couldn't even ask her why didn't you call. My MOM dide yesterday on Good Friday. She didn't have a stroke. They think she might have had something like menenjitis but the weren't able to due a spinal tap because her back was so crippled with athritis. We will have the funeral 1 in PA then 1 in WV and she will be buried in WV with my Dad and Brother. my Mom was the oldest of thirteen kids.

Thanks, Karen, for passing on this sad news.

Sincere condolences, She, on the death of your mother. What very sad circumstances; you must feel dreadful. I do hope you recover properly from all your other misfortunes, too. Take some time to grieve, and breathe slowly, to get yourself back in balance. . In message , "Karen, Queen of Squishies" writes
