Hello everyone!
I know it's been a while, but I've been busy! The long arm quilter came, and of course, was NOT problem free. There were part damaged, parts on back order, free giveaways sent separately. We finally have it all assembled and are ready to quilt! I decided to do some practice quilts first. My mom had a bunch of cheater quilt tops with the backing so we are going to practice on them. I know Curtis will be getting pictures as we go, he just took some of the quilter standing idle. It's in our livingroom, which looks like it could be turned into my studio by the end of the year. We really don't use the living room much anyway. We'll switch the living room with the sewing room. And I'll call it my 'studio'.
I've been designing quilts, wallhangings and tablerunner with my new software and will be selling the patterns on my website. Curtis and I have been working overtime at our full time jobs, and I think we will probably be pushing that date to early November, as much as we like the overtime money, we are hoping that will stop this week and we can both get to work.
Anyone out there who would like some scraps let me know, my copper boiler is over flowing again. All I ask is for the postage, I can stuff quite a bit in a flat rate box for $8.10 postage. Email me and let me know, I'll take payments through PayPal.
