OT gone bananas

I was sending this recipe to my brother and thought you guys might enjoy it too. It seems there are always ripe bananas around this time of year. It isn't low fat so be forewarned.

Banana Coffee Cake Mix for topping: 1-1/2 cup chopped walnuts 1/3 cup sugar 1 Tbs.. cinnamon set aside

Butter and flour a tube or bundt pan. preheat oven to 350'.

Stir together 2 cup flour 1 Tbs.. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt set aside

Cream : 1 cup butter add: 2 cups sugar. Beat until fluffy. add: 2 eggs. mix well. add: 1 cup sour cream 2-1/2 ripe bananas, mashed 1 Tbs.. vanilla add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix until blended. put 1/2 of batter in prepared pan. sprinkle with 1/2 of topping

mixture. slice one firm banana over and then add remaining batter and then the rest of topping mixture. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 20

minutes then remove from pan.

ARGGH! Just reading this sweet concoction added three inches to my waistline!

Thanks Taria! Bananas are just about my favorite fruit on the planet. A couple weeks ago, I made THE most delicious.... and decadent - banana ice cream. They just seem to taste better this time of year.
