OT good thoughts please

A friend of ours just got a call that her sister had gone into hard labor. Problem is her sis is a month early, and the baby is face up in transverse lie. So good thoughts for mom and baby, a c-section is underway as I type.

Also good thoughts for our friend who got about 10 miles out of town on her way to the airport when her car started belching black smoke and died. DH is taking a turn talking to her on the phone to keep her calm while she waits for somebody to come get her.

Her daughter just had a baby boy a couple of days ago too. Devlin, 7 pounds 6 oz, 20 inches. (beggers blocks in gold and lemon batik, and very bright red, with a border of dancing bears in the yellow on the red, with a shocking blue and indigo "Sarah stripe" twixt border and main quilt)

She will be just fine, I had my little girl the same way just over 19 months ago! Sans c-section thank god! I had the forceps instead and she was 5 weeks early as well. LOL Although it wasn't very funny at the time. She is happy and healthy and I am currently expecting another little one in July.

Here is hoping that everything goes well.

I wote this yesterday, our router wasn't just fritzing, it was dying. All replaced now!

**************************

Our router is fritzing and when I went and got headers today, I couldn't get the message bodies cause it had disconnected me. I know I am missing some messages now. So thanks for all the good thoughts that I know came through.

Mama and baby are doing fine. It's a boy, almost 6 pounds, and sufficiently developed that if he "passes" his immune system tests he gets dropped off the preemie list and will be allowed to go home with mama.

Sis did not have a nervous breakdown while waiting with her car, and got home safely.

So everybody is doing well :)

Except now I am in a quandry because I'm not sure who out of all of this needs a quilt the most!

*you* do :-) having to go without RCTQ for any time is worth of needing a quilt :-)

however if someone else is top then maybe the baby - that will give both mom and dad of the baby strength too :-)
