OT: MIA

Hi, I'm going to be MIA for a while. My ancient, second hand little laptop last night rejected its connection to the router and thus to the Internet. I've tried a lot of things, but it seems to have fried something. I'm writing this while sneaking a few minutes on my son's computer. Problem is, it takes me forever to find things without my favorites list. I know, very lame, but it's true. I'm going to download a few drivers to my thumb drive and see if any will work to get my Netgear plug-in to work again. Or the Belkin plug-in.

So, think about me a bit and if you have a spar prayer -- oh send it somewhere more needed than my computer. After all, it's completely replaceable.

I'm sure you've probably already tried - but did you re-boot the router itself? Works here for those time when nothing else makes sense!
