hey cyndi, they have fabs there among other stuff. i've had the pleasure of some of the fabs from lewiston they have excellent prices, $4 a yd or less if you get the whole bolt. thats about all i know about them. a bit hit and miss on what they might have on the day. probly pay to call the different ones and see what they have in stock at the time you get there. its always changing in surplus places. have fun, say hi to leesha if you see her, lol. jeanne

Ooooooohhhhhh yeahhhhhh! Do go to the Marden's in Lewiston! As nzlstar said, you gotta "feel lucky" as their stuff changes from day to day - but the selection is usually great and prices are wonderous. Will email ya privately cyndi - we need to have a meet-up. ME-Judy

wooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! a great days drive/lunch/meet-up for some of rctq who are in the upper new england area. any excuse for some group s.e.x. eh :)) wish i'd made it there myself, sigh... maybe next trip. i got a quilter or two up that way i really gotta visit with. glad you found some goodies. sooooo, what did you buy? we gotta know so we can plan a stash raid. geeez louise. hugz, jeanne

Here's a great little quilt shop over in Bath, ME (you'll go through Bath driving up the DownEast Coast. ) It's Mariner's Compass quilt shop. They have the yummiest batiks.
