We'll be taking my daughter over to Bangor for her flight home next week, then we'll be taking a few days for ourselves before heading home. Is there a listing of needlework shops for Maine somewhere? I wouldn't want to miss anything. ;-)

HoffmanDis.com has a shop locator. However, some are INS only, and one I looked at today, I couldn't find any reference to XS on the website, so suspect the owner buys from Hoffman's for her own stash and not for the business. So, double check with the shop before you assume that it's a B&M or that it has stash for sale.
Well, if you don't mind driving a little, there is Yankee Cross Stitch in North Hampton NH. I'd swing up and see you if the timing works! Cheryl
I don't think we'll make it up that far this time Cheryl - nice thought tho'. I'd like to meet up with some of the gals some day down the line. I've been to the Yankee Cross Stitch Shop before - several times in fact - it's wonderful - I could stay there a week! :-))

I happen to live in Bangor and there is a yarn shop, a craft shop, and an AC Moore here I know there are some independent studios and farms but they are not really open to visit. I hope that helps if you need more info let me know and I can give you addresses, directions, #'s stuff like that. Welcome to Bangor
