Oh how desperately sad, Kellie. My heart bleeds for you. What gorgeous dogs, both of them, and so happy. At least you know that she was happy and she hadn't got sick. Hardly any consolation I know, but it might be something. You have had an awful shock, so take it easy this afternoon. You will all need to grieve together when the children come home. Just hug together. There's nothing you can do to lessen their sadness, just help them through it; and let them help you. Don't know what else to say. I would be distraught also. . Kellie, I am crying right along with you. (sob) What a terrible tragedy. I am so very, very sorry you lost your precious furry child. From the photos (darling, sweet photos of your 'girls') it's very obvious you adored her and the feelings were very much mutual. Barney and the rest of my furbabies at The Rainbow Bridge will take good care of Tessa while she waits for you to come for her in the next life.

I know that words can't help in a time like this, but know that you gave her a wonderful life and that you made her SO happy (which is easy to see from your pictures)!!

Our QIs don't live as long as we do, but we can do whatever we can to make their short lives as happy and wonderful as possible ... and you did just that. I know you feel sad, but know that's she's waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge - and though the time passes so slowly for us; for her, it's the blink of an eye. So she won't be lonely for long. Even if it's decades in "our time" it will be seconds in hers.

Hug your babies (two-legged and four-legged alike) and let the tears flow!! I'll be praying for you and your family!!

I and my son are sitting here in front of the screen crying. Our hearts go out to you and your family and to the lovely pup left lonely. I can't think of anything else to say, except that love lives on forever in our hearts.
