Sorry I did not update y'all yesterday.
Son had the packing removed from his nose. At the time his head felt like it was ready to fall off. Gave him his pain meds when we got home. His appetite is just starting to come back. Told me he was hungry about
8:30 pm. Has to keep his head elevated until Monday when we go back to the doctor to have the next round of removal. No idea how painful that will be. He was going to go back to his Dad's house today, but now it looks like he will still be living in my living room until Monday. His father's wife celebrates Christmas and this year he does not want to go to the step-aunt's for Christmas Eve activities. He is the only kid still at their place. My daughter and her step-sister are doing the holidays in Orlando since step-sister is on Winter break from Cornell's law school and daughter has to work on Christmas day. At least they will be together since they are quite close.As for Dad. Mom didn't bother calling me on Sunday to let me know that the biopsy was scheduled for 8 am yesterday. Dad is not in any pain, but is scared since he does not have the results yet. He is also depressed that he is still in the hospital after a week. Hopefully, the problem can be treated with meds and he can go home this afternoon.
I think I am going go to BevMo and get some booze. Boy can I sure use it after the last week!
