And if you'll excuse the vulgarity, 'Oh, shit.' I got the geese going the wrong direction on the right side. And you know what? They are going to stay that way.

Joan, this is the most beautiful Over The River I've seen - just lovely. And I wouldn't worry at all about the geese on the right side of the quilt - if anyone asks, that's just your twist on the original pattern. There's no law against that!

It's great!!! And I think that most everyone will be looking at your lovely embroidery instead of the direction of geese - I know I was. :)

If it helps any, when we were traveling last summer we saw Fields of Geese teaching the younger ones how to fly. Needless to say they were NOT all going one way or the other. Some were even going in circles.

Absolutely beautiful, Joan. I'm usually not a big fan of subtle colors, but I really, really like this one. Fabulous work!

This is absolutely STUNNING! I love everything about it, color choice, balance, etc, etc......if those qeese want to fly this-a-way, I live over the river, and they can set on my riverbank anytime. It's just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Donna
