placemat pattern

easily done tho a bit more info on any specifics you had in mind would narrow the field. i googled 'free xmas placemats pattern' and got heaps of results. the images there are also handy if you've no idea what you really want. was it a tablerunner for the middle of the table you were after or just a regular placemat?

for a simple placemat you could take any 12" block design, make it up in colours you like, add a 3" border on two sides, quilt and bind it, thats the easiest. you could make those borders pieced or add fancy ribbon/s down the length of the 3" wide piece or add 3 X 1" strips or heck, the worlds your oyster. what do you fancy?? cheers from the south pacific, jeanne
