political economy of soft drinks

Mark gets "red" jelly with mandarin sections and peach slices in his lunch. I think that says "Love", don't you? Occasionally he gets "traffic light jellies" that are layered green, yellow and red... in which case he shows off at work and makes everyone jealous. :)

Nah, I just grew up beset with three gramma's who were determined to make sure I could cook _something_. Though truthfully not one of them could cook meat worth a darn. Probably part of the reason I came out mostly vegetarian. Canning and preserving was nearly a religion amongst all of them though. I never had a chance to do other than learn it well! (G)

I have tried many times to put tinned/canned pineapple into British jelly, and it doesn't set. Trust me on this.

Then perhaps the difference is in the canned pineapple(?) (or it just doesn't like you.)
