Like usual your quilts and projects are always a treat to see Joan. Your work is wonderful. I have been thinking about trying socks. How tough is that if I only am a beginning knitter? Looking at the feet, legs, socks and top of noggin kind of fun too. What does the whole person look like? Taria

Socks was easy! I've knitted for years and years, more than I care to think about, but there's really nothing different about socks. It might help if you have a LYS where you could go for a beginners' pattern, yarn, needles (double pointed) and some help if needed.

p.s. The photos made me realize I have thick ankleslegs. Good thing I cover them when out in public! As for the shiny noggin and feet behind the quilts, that's my honey of 28 years. :>

I picked up a big bundle of knitting needles at the swap meet a few weeks ago and in the mess were several sets of double pointed needles. I remember grandma griping that as young girls they had to knit or darn socks every evening. I thought 'feeling her pain' might be interesting. There is a LYS and I know the president of the local knitting guild. I may have to beg some help from her. Thanks, Taria

p.s. your ankles are f> Socks was easy! I've knitted for years and years, more than I care to
