Very pretty, Joan! You continue to amaze me--your work is always so beautiful!
Oh my gosh - I absolutely love your tote bag Joan. Can I be your secret Santa recipient this year? How long did it take you to make it?
That's just flat lovely, Joan -- and in colors I really love. Are you looking for a home for it? ;)

.No, it's a store sample, like most of the others. How long? Well, the technic requires sewing all of the strips together end to end. That's 37 strips. (3 are reserved for binding the top and the handles.) Then you press the strips in half and half again. So before you even begin wrapping the clothesline, there's lots of pressing. The strips are sewn around the clothesline. (At this point, there was a trip to the hardware store for more clothesline. Clothesline comes in 100 ft rolls and you need 150 ft. Naturally.) Then you start zigzagging the strips into the bag shape. 2 days off and on? joan
Beautiful! I kind of like the flare, but I agree that it needs nice leather handles. Roberta in D
