Quilt Guild Gift

Jul 16, 2009 22 Replies

We do a TON of charity work. At the holiday party we give carloads to the local shelter for whom we provide quilts the whole year through. We also make several hundred quilts for the NICU each year and dozens for the blind baby organization. We also donate cash to places in need.

I really see nothing wrong with a little something for a party. Life hardly needs to be all or nothing to be appropriate. Women do deserve to be treated now and again as well.

However, given that I am a committee of one, I won't be hand embroidering the guild logo on 100 needle cases :-)

Thanks, Laurie, I was wondering too. I use my hera marker for neat turns and corners when I do a stitch and turn finish. PAT
