It was a crazy weekend here, so I didn't have time up until now to mention I got to go to a wonderful smaller guild type quilt show Saturday morning. The women there were wonderful, had an I Spy set up for the little ones with no candy in the reward bag!! Yippeee!!! Many wonderful quilts including several from Jane Kennedy!!! She's a local quilter who quilts on her featherweight and non stitch regulated berninia and has taken home MANY top awards from some of the largest quilt shows in the country. It was really great to see these quilts close up and the detail was just great! I really need to take a class from her next year. There was some humor relief as well... a longarmer was there stalking people (she was associated with the show somehow) and targeted us??!! Talk about barking up the wrong tree. We just smiled nicely and walked away shaking our heads...... guess I need to get a lonarmed and not afraid to use it shirt??!! Overall it was a great show and I just really enjoy all the guild shows that are around here. Great way to spend a Saturday morning!
