Hi all. I just realized yesterday that there is a big quilt show only an hour away from me starting this morning. I was wondering if any of our Alberta ladies or any passers-by were planning on being there?
This is the Heritage Park Quilt Festival in Calgary, AB. I missed it last year, but the 2 years before that it was incredible. Many of the quilts are hung outside, and many are displayed inside the wonderful heritage buildings that the park maintains. They also set up huge tent type structures for vendor booths, quild booths and even more quilts.
Luckily our snow has melted and it appears that the sun is going to shine! :)
I'm still waffling on going, as I have so much to do at home, and I know that I will spend money if I go, but if I knew someone else that would be there, it would tip the scales in favor of a road trip!
