And I received proof of that today. The mailman delivered a package to me. "Home is where the heart is" hug quilt. My deepest thanks to everyone who made a block or held a good thought for us in this time of transition. We don't have a home yet so are living with my parents. My mother needs supervision and some assistance since she is in hospice care with renal failure and an incurable blood disease that will lead to leukemia if she lives long enough. She has improved since I moved here the end of Feb so now I do have time to make quilts again. DH has found a job as a night auditor at a local hotel. Tho it doesn't pay much, it is an income and we are able to pay our bills and save some too so that when we can look for a place of our own, we will have funds put aside. Regardless of where we hang our hat, the quilt will be prominently displayed as a reminder of friends we have never seen.
Thanks again and God bless.
