First, let she (or he) without clutter, cast the first bolf of fabric!

I think Peter's treatment of the generous heart and soul of this quilter, reminds us of the need for balance.

Barbara's love of her family and passion of giving to the service-members touched by war strike a chord in each of us. Peter's ability to steer and make clear the need for each space sends a message of hope.

I would like to have known that the family too might have joined in the passion Barbara expresses for this great warriors and make it a family affair.

The Quilts you witnessed stacked in the living room are created each week. These Quilts of Valor are distributed as events occur throughout the month in both public and private ceremonies.

According to published reports, the local chapter (SoCal QOV) chartered by Barbara, and a member of the national organization (Quilts of Valor - QOVF), has distributed over 1400 quilts and counting.

Quilts of Valor, founded in the United States, has affliates in both Canada and the UK.
