The information-gathering for the current one has been done, WVQ. It will be sent to those who are on it, when poor Alice gets some time. Sometime next year there will be several postings giving advance warning of the 'submission' date. It is not a 'running' sort of data-base. One pre-requisite you might need to be aware of now is that you must post regularly (though not necessarily frequently) to be "known" on the ng. I "missed" the first Directory after I joined the ng but was known (famous or infamous??) by the time the second came around.

These precautions are taken to protect everyone's privacy, and we appreciate the enormous amount of work it creates for the Keeper.

Some years ago I worked for a County Education Department, and I remember the time when one of my bosses was giving a lecture to teachers and wrote 'imformation' as the heading to a list on a flip chart. I had always corrected his spelling in correspondence before it went out, but this time I couldn't!
