Re: DDs Christmas Quilt

Pictures in Quilts album pages 5 and 6. Finished in a hurry - why does the quilting take so long, even when its supposed to be done simply! The paw prints didn't work quite as well as I hoped - but still, DD knows they are pawprints! I was quite pleased with the cats and mice though - they did work!

The camera insists that the backing was scarlet, but actually it is a dark tan to tone with the cats! Nice easy pattern - I'll do that one again.

Isn't it lovely when you give someone a quilt and they really appreciate it and get quite 'overcome'.

Great quilt. And yes it's nice to give a quilt that is appreciated. My DD said my DGD opened her quilt on Christmas, spread it out, and had a tea party on it.

It's no wonder to me why your DD loved the quilt, Sally! I think the quilting is really wonderful, and I love the pattern you used to showcase those cat prints. :)
