OK, I'm thinking there's Lincoln and Omaha girls on here. You may already know this, but Mary Ghormley, who's doll quilts are featured in the book "Childhood Treasurers" by Merikay Waldvogel, and her husband are moving to a retirement community. They are having an auction this Friday and Saturday at their home in Lincoln.
I know there are almost 200 quilts for sale along with a lot of other stuff, I imagine.
I know I have the date right, but since it's Nebraska, it may be that the sale will be held inside somewhere. I wasn't really clear on that part of it.
I wish I lived just a wee bit closer.
