ENABLING ALERT!!! (hee hee)

Well, you didn't have to enable me. I was at my Michaels at 9:00 this morning when they first opened. And I plan to go back tomorrow to use the other 40% off coupon. I got the Slab IV. I used the 50% off coupon for a sizzix die cut. I try to use them ever week they have the coupons to add to my sizzix collection. I haven't gotten any of the alpha's though. They seem to expensive for one font. I did see the Slab V and the special and holiday one's you was talking about. I might have to get though later. Ohhh, what am I talking about might. I will get them later. It seems much cheaper to buy by that stack then buy individually for 50 cents a sheet.

I have to say that it's just not meant to be for me to use that 50% off coupon. I wasn't feeling well yesterday so I slep most of the day away then ended up calling in sick to work today. And you just don't go shopping on a sick day. I was ready to use that 50% off coupon on another set of sizzlets too! Oh well....I don't really need to spend the money right now anyway.

Glad so many of you are enjoyig the Slab V. I guess I'm glad I'm not able to get there. S

Darrell and I went to the Micheals in Amarillo to use our 50% off coupons.... I told one of Jonathan's friends last night if he wanted cheat codes for his PSX 1 game then he had to go find me 3 more ad inserts with the coupon on it. He did and called me and drove 10 miles to town and 10 miles back just to have the extra coupons. Then this morning up at 8 am to go to Amarillo to shop. I ended up getting a package of scrap paper, and Darrell one green die sizzix.... first run thru the checker. Then second run thru we got a large rubber stamp each and went to the opposite checker for our second purchase. The coupon now says "one coupon per person per day" . Got 4 of the 40% off ones to use during the week I hope.

It in MY opinion is the best looking one YET!! They also have a new Holiday and special occasion pack too. I did not get it but HAD TO HAVE the slab V!! It is the type of paper I love the most!! (if there was not too much that I don't!!)

Anyhow YA"LL need to hurry down to Michaels and get yours!! Ya'll hear!!!

I was at Michaels earlier today hoping to get a slab in sale BUT they were out already. I'll try again another day to see if they got more in. I've been pouting since though.

You're bad! You know that I can't resist the heritage types! Now, I'll just have to go do Michael's tommorrow, coupon or no, and get a Slab for myself. I resisted after reading your first post, then I got to your second post and now I've decided that I *HAVE* to have it.

Dave, I searched last night and saw this on eBay US for $14.99 but with S & H goodness knows what it would end up. BooHooHoo, I want one *stamping feet in a tantrum* but there is no chance it will arrive here anytime soon and it will be soooo expensive when it gets here :o( My holidays & celebrations block was £20 something pounds and so much of it may not be used as we don't have the same holidays. The UK peeps are slinking off to sulk now......wailing as we go...waaah!!!!! Oh, btw, I just came back to the PC to send off the BOOT....duck now or it will get you in the back of the head, you naughty paper TEASE!!!! LOLOLOL

Heehee, I picked mine up yesterday as well!! Looks like I can use most if not all the paper. (many times there's some too "girly" to use with all the boys in my house) Thanks for the enabling Dave!

I bought one the other day and the paper is not cut away from each other, waaaa! I guess I need to complain to someone but since I didn't open it right away I guess that won't be to Michaels. Provocraft makes it, I think. (I'm not in the scraproom, so am not sure. Has anyone ever complained to them before?

I hate my newspaper. They haven't had any Michael's ads in them for several weeks! I guess I'll just have to use my JoAnn's coupon for the new slab.

I'm such a paper floozy and it's all Dave's fault! I just went out this evening and bought the Slab V at Michaels. It's my first slab!!!! *giddy with giggles*

Ok I went to Michael's and bought Slab V.......and I feel much better.

I had the Special Occasion Slab in my hand too, but decided that not buying it today gave me an excuse to go back like Thursday or Friday to get it. :-) Our Michael's is moving (like 3 store slots down the strip) so everything is on sale so they don't have to move it....sooooooo, I may have to go back and see what else I can find when I am not in a time crunch.

Hubby's family is in town and I didn't have much time to stop and drool. Walk in, claim my slab, get a frame for the MIL (I was giving her some kid pics), and get out.

And I've already been bad! Ebay and I get along TOO well and I've spent a bit there already that I haven't fessed up to yet! I bought some albums and I decided that I REALLY like "Pebbles, Inc" stuff....sooooooo, I have to be good again for awhile.

I may have to not read the NG for a month so I don't get tempted....and give in!

I'm a sniffer to Jacqui I love the smell of things like paper. Like a big new book! There are times I won't buy something, because it doesn't smell good. My kids think that weird. haha

I never thought about it like that. I have a bad (according to my DH) habit of buying a new book rather that getting it from the library to read. I like to be the first one to open and read it. It used to be a fight at the house with the teens over who got to read a new book first. I'm in luck right now - the older ones are out on their own and I don't have to fight the 12 and 8 yr olds YET. I just returned one to the library that I couldn't read - it semlled like a chain smoker had it last. YUCK!!! Sandy
