We will be driving Rt 74 across IL, Indiahopolis, 65 to Louisville KY, across 64 to Lexington KY, to77 in W.VA,down 77 through a bit of VA, then 77 toWinston-Salem NC, and on 40/85 to Durham NC and on to Chapel Hill, NC. I think that's the planned route. As for the trip to the Outer Banks to catch a ferry to Ocracoke Island, I'm not sure, but looking at the map, I'd guess 264. Andrea

Oh, shoot! That won't let you get to Paducah!
You are going to be going by close to me! I live just north of Indianapolis off of 65 in Lafayette. Now that I looked at it on a map, you will be going by Crawfordsville, too, which is 30 minutes away. I'll be sure to wave! Have fun! Toni

If you're on I-74, make a tiny little detour South on I-155 (15 minutes or less) to Morton to visit The Quilt Corner. It's a great LQS. My favorite in the area is actually Peddlar's Way in Washington, but its a little harder to find.
