Sewing Expo Meet-Up?

Jan 30, 2009 10 Replies

I know, I don't post much, but I do try to partway keep up with what's going on around here. Hugs and prayers to all who need them.

The NW Sewing Expo will be here in WA state (Puyallup is the name of the town, for those not local), 2/26 thru 3/1. I'm so excited - Mary D is flying over here to Seattle from her house in ID, to spend that weekend with me, having a sew-in (or quilt-in, or whatever). We thought we would go to the Expo on Friday, 2/27. Is anyone else going on Friday? Want to have a lunchtime meetup?

If this is too OT, just email me off-group!!

Puyallup has to be one of the most mispronounced town names in existance! One friend calls it Poo all up!

I thought it was more pew-allup. I always wanted to go to the Puyallup Fair, but never got the chance. It ran right after the Oregon State Fair (10/11 days) and was 17 days long. I passed when my boss asked me to follow him up there to work. I had a husband and kids to take care of the other years so I couldn't.

Where in Oregon? I was there from '74-'08 and never went to the state fair.

I can't go to the expo, but I'd love to be able to meet for dinner after?

I know where the fair is. :) I wondered where you lived.

LOL! Oh over the 24 years I lived anywhere between Salem and 33 miles east of there in Gates. Lived in Keizer, Stayton, Mill City and Aumsville also.

we spent all but one year in Lane County. Mostly in Creswell. Last year was near Yoncalla.
