Sisters Quilt Show??

Sunny - I just checked and it's JULY 12th.......... so, if you live far, far away, you might want to leave soon but if you are in CA, OR or WA, you may want to wait a bit before heading that way. (All this said in good fun, of course!) ;-)

Wish I could go again. It's July 12. If you don't have lodging already, you best plan on driving home the same day.

It is *always* on the second Saturday in July, this year it's the 12th. I have good friends in Bend, Oregon I visit that weekend each year. Unfortunately, because of circumstances beyond my control, I won't be there for 2008 :( Hope you make it, it's a fun show. If you are in an RV or expect to stay in a motel you just might want to call around about some reservations in advance. That show brings in a lot of people.

From my experience, most accommodations are booked one year in advance. I had to work really hard booking rooms when I called 9 months in advance. We ended up staying at a golf resort that was midway between Bend & Sisters. Eagle Crest Golf Resort??? Not sure, but Eagle was definitely in the name. Not too many quilters were staying there, which leads me to believe it's a little known "secret":)

I knew it was July, but at the time I posted this morning, June just seemed easier to type. ;-) We do have accommodations -- in Bend. That way DH and I will be able to find non-quilty things to do and more places to eat. I'm really looking forward to it.
