Source for 3/16" buttons

Hi:

Is anyone out there a doll maker or someone who makes clothing for dolls? I found the greatest pattern for a hawaiian shirt quilt I want to make for the DH who has 35 hawaiian shirts in his collection. In the Beginning Fabrics has a line of miniature hawaiian prints that are used in the quilt.

The quilt is too cute. It has 18 hawaiian shirts on it. Each shirt requires three 3/16" buttons. I have found one source on the internet for them, but they have not answered my e-mail. So, I'm looking for a back-up source.

In case anyone else is interested in the quilt pattern, I got it free when I purchased the fabrics. The pattern is called Mini Hawaiians by Kimo. That is also the name of the fabric.

has the entire line for the best priceI could fine.. If you are interested in the quilt, but can't find thepattern, let me know and I'll post a copy of it. I'm sure the patternmaker won't mind since the pattern was free. Mardi

Actually, the Virginia Quilter doesn't have the whole line. But

does. They are alittle pricy, but you only need 1/4 yard of each fabric. Mardi

I have a package of miniature button which I am almost positive that I purchased them from

and they offer several different color options. I bought the "country colors" package and think there's about 50 in there. They have other colors available.

Hi Mimi:

You can go here to get the pattern for the hawaiian shirt quilt.

Be aware that it is a pretty hefty download (2.5 megs). I don't know why it is so big, it's just three scanned pages.

Anyway, this is really a cute quilt pattern. I'm going to start on it tomorrow when we are back at the river camping.
