STASH RAID

Since Suzie and Corporal Bang requested it we are having a STASH RAID at their place whilst they are on their get-away.

Now who(m?) all is coming with me and who(m?) all is coming in with Jeanne?

AND what colors are you acquiring whilst there...come-on now...speak up... we gotta make sure we have enuf room for all of you--and what are you bringing to help keep our tummys full?

Butterfly (we haven't had a RAID in ages and we are looking forward to this one--I'm recruiting Mr Bond to fly us all over : ) )

Gosh....I need some more neutrals and darks. Not really picky about color. Gonna whip up my chocolate marble cheese cake cause you gotta taste it.

I'm in, Butterfly! I always need blues and neutrals, though some yellows wouldn't go amiss, either, or greens, or pinks -- well, whatever's handy. I'll bring either some of my best shortbread or some Swedish mazarins -- really yummy! :) When's our flight?

Well, count me in Butterfly. I'll make time for a raid. I'll bring the chocolat for energy boost. Do we have a plan of where she keeps her stash? How about QIs, are we prepared? Diane, if you don't mind sharing the purples, I'd appreciate it. ;o)

The stash is just inside the bedroom doorway on the right - its in several plastic boxes, so be sure to spread them all out on the lounge floor so's you can all have a good rootle... there are plenty of colours that you can all fight over so there!

Oh, and the bag of hand-dyed WOW fabrics is in the lounge in the pile under the quilting hoop...

Watch out tho, anything in flannel or brushed cotton belongs to Paul, especially the almost finished Thimbleberries quilt, so hands off!!

Now do I pop in first for a quick 'preview' or do I kick my heels till you all arrive.

Mmmm...could do both I suppose.. Could make you a welcoming cup of tea.

Hodge has already volunteered to distract Miss Sophie the QI. Could send him in in advance to do a reccie. He would enjoy searching all the cupboards.

Oh good, thanks for telling us. I was a little worried that Hodge might go to sleep if he had too many jobs to do (he was detailled to reccie as well), and he is supposed to be distracting Sophie.

Didn't hear any guns - perhaps they were pointing the wrong way to hear them, but the right way not to get shot!

I purposely didn't pick anything chocolate, Butterfly. :) And the Swedish mazarins are luscious -- almondy and wonderful. Maybe I'll bring both....

With the new booster seats in my car, I know have 14 cup holders, and 4 bottle holders. Of course, to take advantage of the new cup holders, you have to fit in the booster seat. Any mini-stash raiders want to ride along?

I'm raiding for vintage fabrics. Or those wacky weird fabrics that you thought you'd use "someday, when you make an art quilt". Them's mine!

Let's see. I'll have to tug-o-war w/ *nzl for the lime greens. Maybe we'll break out our bestest negotiating skills. ;) Could use some aquas for my next project. Oooh, and some bright baby quilt pieces to mix with what I've already got. I'll bring peanut M&Ms, and some rosebuds (do y'all know what these are?). allyson

(ahem) - er...... um...... doesn't a "proper" pirate need a beverage? Ya know, somethin' like rum, or at the very least, a bottle or 12 of a nice merlot? If I bring something to quench our thirst after all our hard work, can I pleeeeeeze have the calico's??
