Oh my goodness gracious. Pig! Please come hold my hand. I am about 40 years too old to try that but my how I would love to. How wonderful. How delightful. Wow. Polly
Awesome!
Wow! I love it! It's bright, cheery, and just plain inviting to sit on.
I'm very impressed -- you did a fabulous job and it could not have been easy.
Where were you when I was reduced to the fetal position crying under my cutting table over the crib skirt/bumper pads/ etc. last month??

The Festival of Quilts at the NEC has a 3-D category! It is usually clothing (and odd/weird 'sculptures'), but the couch would fit well there.
(I don't know the actual 'rules' >gMy jaw has dropped -fantastic! They really need a quilt show category
Wow, how colorful and original! You really achieved a very trim fit, while keeping the squares ... well, square! Did you put any batting and/or quilting in the squares before joining them?
This gives me the idea to make a patchwork cover for the seats of our kitchen corner bench. I could use some of the 'original' fabric, add some coordinates and go to town. That way it would match the bench back and the chair covers, but the work load would be minimal.

Pig, that is probably the most individual couch I've ever seen! Just wonderful, and fits you're personality. It's so you. great job!

Wow, that is awesome!
Wow, what a ton of work and what amazes me is that you kept the blocks so square on an un-square item! You have a real talent for fitting, that's for sure. Job well done! Donna
When I saw the subject of your email, I was a little doubtful, but, then I looked a the pictures and it's Wonderful! It just makes you want to sit down and rub your hands over the quilting! I've thought of recovering my sewing chair, which really needs it, but, I don't have your talent. Thanks for sharing, Michelle G.
What a wonderful job fitting it. It's really neat. Congrats on a job well done. Gen
Great idea & great job Miz Piggie!

Yeah, I basically used what I learned from my first raggy quilt: they're 10" squares with 9" batting in the middle. It actually *is* reversible, although I doubt I'll ever reverse it: the other side is all dark green. (It was the only thing I had 14 yards of---which is about what it took in "all one fabric". I'd have to go back and do all the snipping on the seams to make it true "raggy" if I reversed it, but that's all it would take......
