Update- please understand-Karen

Hug blocks I will be starting on today, I have been busy working outside for the last 3 weeks in the garden's. and making backpacks for the children of Katrina. we have some in the Sherman area (TX) and in Ardmore, OK I made 6 backpacks and filled them up with school supplies. It was all I could do here for them. :(

It is just so heartbreaking. and now to learn of another one on its way. Rita looks really big and bad now. Cat 4 and about 300 miles from the center.. and still growing! ( some are saying it might make a cat 5) because of my medical condition I was unable to go down to Houston and help out or go to La. don't forget to give blood if your able!!

It also looks like we will be seeing some of Rita, might see some winds and lots of rain .. I'm sure that if we get any wind 20+ we will loose elect.. and there is no telling how long that will be out.. since we live in a small town that is always the last to get elect back on.

My husbands job is still on the line ( we feel that the layoff will hit either before the holidays or just after) there is no hope for him even going back to the plant. not sure what will happen, still no money from the sale of the home, ( close date was the 1st) and they moved in two months before the close date.. still no money from the buyers ( a mess that DH's brother made the deal with )

But I hope to have all of the Hug blocks out in the next two days, and finished the BOM block for the month of September. Karen, get ready for the emails that will start coming as I get the hugs finished!
