Wanted: Ugly & Unwanted Fabrics

Jan 08, 2008 3 Replies

The new year is here and I've begun sewing "blankies" for this 2008. After another year of nearly 1500 blankets using 2200 yards of fabric, I would love to have any ugly or "what was I thinking" fabric that you may want to clean out of your stash. I don't only use cotton but any washable fabrics including polyester, knits, flannels, fleece and etc. Remember, to the animals all the fabrics are beautiful no matter what we think. It's amazing how a couple of yards of fabric can bring such joy especially to a dog who has never had anything soft and comfortable to lay on before. Thanks for all your support over the past several years. The animals and I both appreciate all your kindness and generousity.

Jill -- things have begun to calm down abit -- maybe we could meet sometime in the next week or so. Would the Wal-Mart parking lot in Milford be a reasonable drive for you?

Email me off group ... I'm thinking maybe Saturday morning? Let me know!

Hey JILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! Heads up, 2 more boxes on their way to you - parcel post this time instead of priority, but they needed to get off my floor and on their way to you. I think there are some rather large chunks that I just oculdn't find uses for as well as usable scraps. Enjoy!!

Do you still need the Hobbs UPC's as well? I have actually moved to a new town that does not sell batting on the rolls but they have a wonderful selection of Hobbs in bags so that is all I buy now! If you are still in need of them can you forward me your address again and do you need the whole bag sent or just the bar code portion?
