There was a Sundance Celebration (Native American) near us this past week. At the end, was a wedding. The bridal couple and many family members stayed at the motel my DH and I manage. This evening the couple brought in their wedding quilt for me to see. She started piecing it about a year ago and those attending the wedding ceremony added stitches to the quilting. It was a beautiful "Lone Star" in mauve, green, and ivory. I was invited to attend Sundance next year. Maybe another couple will be married and I will be able to attend.

How wonderful to have had that background of the quilt history before you saw it! The bride must have been excited to be able to show the quilt to another quilter, also.
